at home – dvd
pretty good. although i’d already seen it twice before.
no, i’m not a super fan of this film (although i do rather like it). you see, omen ii has twice been on at about 11:00 at night and princess has very excitedly wanted to watch it. we’ve settled down, turned out the lights and watched old damien as he goes to school and all that… and each time little old princess has fallen asleep and started snoring away with barely half an hour of the film elapsed.
and there i was each time, 12:30 in the middle of the night, watching this evil little boy kill everyone.
the third time round i enjoyed it just as much as the previous two – more so because princess really liked it! and our man lance henrikssen was in it too!
the people on the special features didn’t think to much of it, which is one of the few times that i’ve heard people criticise the film they’re involved with.
this was part of a box set of the omen which i bought p after my bout of retail therapy when i didn’t get the assistant editor job.
